Mr. Marvin Lee Toms, 84, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 19, 1928, in Hartford, Ky., to Ellis Leslie Toms and Mae (Lee) Toms. He was a retired farmer and businessman, a member of the American Legion and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Toms; one son, Roger Toms of Fayetteville; two daughters, Marvey Toms and Barbra O'Neal, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with Pastor C.H. Doss officiating. Visitation will be held starting at 10 a.m. until service time. A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Berryville Cemetery in Berryville, Ark.
