Gina Scherer Brown

Gina Scherer Brown, 33, of Rogers passed away Dec. 3, 2012, in Springdale. She was born Feb. 25, 1979, in Lenexa, Kan., the daughter of Danny Lee and Virgie Marie Kinsey Brown. Gina graduated Rogers High School in 1997; she also graduated from Northwest Arkansas Community College. Gina was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rogers; she enjoyed art work, photography, camping, hiking, and adored her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Pauline Helen Brown; and maternal grandparents, Virgil and Marie Kinsey. She is survived by her parents, Danny and Virgie Brown of Rogers; two sisters, Sara Helton and husband, Matthew, and children, Luke and Rachel of Bentonville, and Beth Talley and husband, Micah, and children, Hunter and Hannah of Springdale; paternal grandfather, Victor Brown of Rogers; aunts, Linda Monroe, and Lana Bearden and husband, Jim, Teresa Kinsey, all of Rogers, Vickie Taylor and husband, Tim, of Hutchinson, Kan.; and uncle, Henry Kinsey of Manhattan, Kan.; and many cousins. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Sandra Wanasek and Pastor David Bentley officiating.
