Alvina Lynn Terry

Alvina Lynn Terry of Jane, Mo., 49, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., following a sudden illness, on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Alvina was born Nov. 25, 1963, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Lonnie and Judy (Brown) Spence. She lived all of her life in the area. Alvina enjoyed horseback-riding, going to the river and was an excellent cook. She cherished time spent with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Ray Spence. Alvina is survived by her mother, Judy Spence of Larue, Ark.; a son, Coty Terry and a daughter, Tabatha Terry, both of Shreveport, La.; a brother, Bobby Spence of Larue, Ark.; two sisters, Linda Meredith of Pineville, Mo., Ruth Snider of Bella Vista, Ark.; two grandchildren, Mason Terry and Tristen Terry; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Alvina. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jane, Mo. The Rev. Hank Gorman will officiate.
