Henry Eugene Pierson

Henry Eugene "Jack" Pierson, 79, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Dec. 1, 2012. He was born June 26, 1933, in Strickler, the son of James A. "Jim" and Trella Mae Clanton Pierson. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bobby Author Pierson; one daughter, Carolyn Kay Pierson; and one brother, Ray Pierson. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Pierson; one son, Henry Pierson, Jr. and wife, Darlene of Prairie Grove; eight grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Justin Pierson, Kim Tilley, Jack Patrick, James Pierson, David Barron, Kenneth Barron and Brandy Pierson; and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at the Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in Garrett Creek Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Garrett Creek Cemetery in care of Gina Bailey, P.O.
