Lola Mae Snell

Lola Mae Snell, 87, of Lowell, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, in Bentonville. She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Beedeville, Ark., to Jim and Gertie Gaskin Mathews. Lola was a homemaker and also worked for Pel-Freeze in Rogers. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Snell. Survivors include one son, Oscar Mathews and wife Verlene of Bentonville; one brother, Hershel Mathews of Alabama; two grandchildren, Kevin and Kraig Mathews and one great-grandchild, Sterling Skye Mathews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at 2 p.m. at National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be 12 to 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.
