Fern L Schneider

Fern L. Schneider, 93, died Nov. 29, 2012, in Bentonville. She was born on Jan. 1, 1919, to the late Robert and Ida LaRue Young in Duluth, Minn. She was the wife of the late Christian P. Schneider. She worked as a nurse's aid for many years. Mrs. Schneider was president of the Alter Society for over 20 years, Sacristan, Girl Scout Leader for over 20 years and member of Ladies American Legion. She is survived by her sons, Frank P. Schneider of Houston, Texas, Chris (Ellen) D. Schneider of Georgia, Mary Jo (Parker) Hunt of Bentonville; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Fern is preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Kathleen N. Bow and sisters, Mary and Elizabeth. A funeral will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel, Bentonville.
