Dorathy V. Wilson

Dorathy V. Wilson of Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of Miami passed away August 30, 2012 at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows in Springdale. She was 89. She was born in Miami, Oklahoma on April 14, 1923 to Alonzo E. and Ludie (Trask) Turner. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1940. She married Lloyd Wilson on October 19, 1941 in Miami, he preceded her in death. She was a Homemaker. She left Miami and moved to Springdale to be closer to family. She was of the Christian faith and a member of First Christian Church of Miami, and a member of the Martin Sunday School Class. Her parents and one brother Charles Turner preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Richard Wilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas and one daughter Vicki Keen and husband Larry of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday September 1, 2012 at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma.
