Gary Alan Black

Gary Alan Black, 60, of Rogers died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in Rogers. He was born June 14, 1952, in Peru, Ind., to James Stanley and Dorothy Mogle Black. Gary managed the hardware and lighting department for Ridout Lumber in Rogers. He previously managed Builders Choice Supply in Rogers. He worked for Kinsley's Heat and Air in Arizona and was the parts manager for Kenworth in Springdale. Gary enjoyed woodworking, square dancing and bowling. He is survived by wife, Carole Lewis Black of the home, to whom he married May 27, 2006; one daughter, Robin Miller and husband, Mike, of Lincoln; one son, Bryan Black and wife, Holly, of Lincoln; one stepson, Todd Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Jim Black and wife, Dollie, of Springdale, Jeff Black of Springdale, and Sam Black and wife, Cindy, of Bethel Heights; three sisters, Ann Jeffcoat and husband, Rick, of Pea Ridge, Janet Richey and husband, Harry, of Shelbyville, Ind., and Donna Sue Wilson of Pea Ridge; seven grandchildren; and four pets, Dallas, Baylee, Murphee and Charlie (our babies). Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Tracy, Tom Ingle, Todd Lewis, Bear Chaney and George Tracy.
