Patric Wayne Rush

Patric Wayne Rush, 69, of Bentonville, Ark., died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center. He was born on Aug. 30, 1942, in Herrin, Ill., to Wayne Rush and Piccola Wilson Rush. He married Bren Huey on Dec. 7, 1968, in Zeigler, Ill. He retired from management 15 years ago and spent his time doing his favorite hobbies. He loved playing guitar and started a music ministry visiting nursing homes in Florida. He moved to Bentonville with his wife to help take care of both his grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved making BBQ for his friends and family. He was always willing to help anyone who needed anything and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Bren of Bentonville, Ark.; one daughter, Laura Rush McQuade and son-in-law, Ian McQuade, of Bentonville, Ark.; and two granddaughters, Sloan and Larke. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 11 a.m. at Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista, Ark.
