Rosie Ellen Ferguson

Rosie Ellen (Clem) Ferguson, 70, of Springdale, went to be with the Lord at Circle of Life Hospice Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, with her family around her. She was born March 25, 1942 in Pindall, Ark., the daughter of Norvel and Trudie Clem. Miss Rosie was in the child care business for 30 years, she enjoyed reading, attending church, cooking and most of all spending time with her family. She attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by both parents, one sister and one brother. Survivors include her husband Ron Ferguson of the home; five children, Kirk and Cindy Ferguson of Fayetteville, Tammy and Lupe Garcia of Fayetteville, Mitzi and Shaun O'Dell of West Fork, Traci and Jerry Wever of Rogers, Trent and Kimberly Stevens of Bentonville; one brother, Cotton and Beth Clem of Harmon; one sister, Jeannie Ritter of Cherokee City; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Gene Fulcher officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Joel Garcia, Tyler Ferguson, Derek Wever, James Perry, Daniel Cato and Bryant Newell. Honorary pallbearers are Ethan and Devyn Stevens. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
