Donald Fay "Grizz" Blount, age 67, of Centerton, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Aug. 23, 2012. He was born in Van Buren on April 5, 1945. He always lived his life to the fullest and was full of love, life and laughter. He could tell a good story, though we never knew if it was true or from his wild imagination. His grandkids were the light of his life, but he also enjoyed riding his Harley and was an animal advocate. He retired after 40 years as a Master Electrician. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Blount; daughter, Lisa Skinner and husband Chris; sons, Donnie Blount and wife Pam, Chance Blount; four grandchildren, John Schooley and wife Brittany, Zackery Schooley, Tasha Harding and husband Matt, Tyler Blount; and one great-grandson Mason Harding. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Cornerstone Baptist Church at the corner of Highway 12 and "I" Street in Bentonville, With a luncheon to follow. In Lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Renal South, 101 37th St. in Rogers or to the American Heart Association.
