Deborah Kay Cauly, 55, of Rogers, Ark., died on Aug. 18, 2012. Born June 18, 1957, in San Diego, Calif., she eventually settled in Rogers, where she happily raised three children. They instantly became her whole life. During her journey, her self-sacrificing, nurturing personality led her to the field of nursing. Well-liked by her peers, she graduated vice president of her class at North Arkansas School of Nursing. She took pride in her 20 years of selfless service as a nurse and nutritionist. Both endeavors were fueled by her overwhelming willingness to help others. Later in life, her determination took her to the realm of real estate, where she became a licensed real estate broker. Her faith guided her throughout life. In good times and bad, she looked to God for guidance and comfort. Her children and grandchildren were always her priority and greatest accomplishment in life. She loved music and dancing, instilling the same love in each of her three kids. Some of their fondest memories of childhood include singing and dancing together as they laughed in the living room of their home. She enjoyed cooking and was a true gourmet. Sharing Thanksgiving was always a favorite event, because she made everyone's favorites. She looked for the beauty in life. This love of all things beautiful encouraged her collection of angels and sparked her interest in jewelry-making. The loyal, unconditional love that she gave will never leave the hearts that she touched. She will be loved and missed by all. As was her wish, her memory will live on through her family. Deborah is survived by her children, Daniel Cauly, Ryan Cauly and Tiffany Cauly; her grandchildren, Kaylyn Cauly, Juliet Cauly and Oliver Cauly; her parents, Mary and Don Lawson; and siblings, Dan Lawson, Michelle Hicks and Shammie Lawson. There will be a private family memorial held on Saturday, Aug. 25. If there is interest in attending, please contact Mary Lawson at 479-633-0039. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Spina Bifida Association at http://www.spinabifidaassociation.org in honor of Deborah and Megan. This was a special little girl, for whom she cared during her nursing career, and Megan touched her profoundly. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
