Deanna Gors

Deanna Gors, 68, of Fayetteville died Aug. 22, 2012, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on Dec. 22, 1943, in Lodi, Calif., to Earl and Rosa Mae Gooding. She was an ordained minister, a rock collector and loved to read and cross-stitch. She was also a Mary Kay consultant. She was a member of the West Ridge Freewill Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Deanna was a great listener, loving mother and grammy. She never met a stranger; anyone that met her always felt welcome and knew they would forever be a part of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 49 ½ years, Charles Ralph Gors; and one brother, Tom Gooding. Survivors include her three daughters, Charlotte Lougee of Fayetteville, Janet Huffaker of Lincoln, and Barbara Bowen and Jeff of West Fork; two brothers, Eugene Gooding and wife, Darlene, of Fayetteville, and Gary Gooding and wife, Shirda, of Cedarville, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Charla Clark and husband, Eric, of Huntsville, K.D Wheeler of Fayetteville, David Reed and wife, Ting, of Houston, Texas, Sarah Phillips and husband, Kris, of Lincoln, Tana Bowen of Elkins, Chad Bynum of West Fork, and Dustin Bowen and Abby, also of West Fork; 14 great-grandchildren and one on-the-way; several nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev.
