Crystal Swan

Crystal Swan, also known as Geraldine Louise Schwanz, 73, of Weed, Calif., died Aug. 21, 2012. She was born to Kermit and Irma Rosalie Schwanze in Kiawa, Kan. She is survived by her siblings, Richard Schwanz, Jim Schwanz and Krista Denert; children, Pam Hutchens, John Bailey, Gwyn Gregory and David Bailey; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her partner, DeLeon Grabowski; and many others who knew her as Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend and Family. Her life will be celebrated Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. under the pavilion at Devil's Den State Park. She loved God's beautiful creations and brought beauty to this world with her deeds, artwork and her very presence.
