Darrell 'Bimbo' Preston

Darrell "Bimbo" Preston, 58, of Siloam Springs and formerly of Natural Dam, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at his home in Siloam Springs. Darrell was born on Dec. 9, 1953, in Springdale to Gene and Vesta (Poor) Preston. He served his country in the United States Navy and worked as a truck driver for many years. Darrell enjoyed fishing and woodworking and he will be missed very much. He is preceded in death by his parents. Darrell is survived by one daughter, Stacy Pitt of Van Buren; four sisters, Verda Pense and husband Don of Mountainburg, Sue Hester of Kentucky, June Star Scism and husband Woody of Siloam Springs and Ruby Johnson of Centerton; four brothers, Dale Preston and wife Norma of Fayetteville, Johnny Preston of Siloam Springs, Danny Preston and wife Margaret of Van Buren, and Timmy Preston of Fayetteville; one granddaughter, Amber Gordon of Van Buren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
