Charlene Michele Olson

Charlene Michele Olson, 48, of Rogers passed away Aug. 18, 2012, in Rogers. Charlene was born Dec. 10, 1963, in Asheville, N.C., the daughter of Robert and Jane Franklin Gibson. Charlene was employed by Mercy Health as nurse practioner and worked in the surgery scheduling area. She also received her EMT and 1st Responders from the Rogers Fire Department. She volunteered at the Women's Shelter and assisted in the Joplin Tornado Relief Clean-up. She is survived by her husband, Jon Olson of the home; daughters, Heather Britt and Samantha Canady; her parents, Bob and Jane Gibson of Frankfort, Ky.; two grandchildren, Christian and Ashton Britt. A celebration of her life will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Benton County Funeral Home.
