Linda Kues, age 68, of Bentonville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville. Linda was born on March 12, 1944, in Neenah, Wis., to William and Martha (Ammerman) Elliott. On Dec. 19, 1992, Linda married Bob Kues in Omaha, Neb. Linda and Bob owned and operated Punkin Hollow Carriage Company in Bentonville. She was a member of the St. Stephen and St. Bernard Catholic churches. She really enjoyed being a part of the beading group at St. Bernard. Linda was also a member of the Cowgirl Up Riding Club and the Northwest Arkansas Gaited Horse Club. She enjoyed horseback riding, traveling and camping. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed very much. Preceded in death by her parents, Linda is survived by her husband, Bob Kues of the home; two sons, Steve Mathison and wife, Pam, of Nebraska, Tim Mathison and wife, Michelle, of Nebraska; one daughter, Elizabeth Hamlin and husband, John, of Bentonville; one brother, William Elliot of Wisconsin; one sister, Mary Westman and husband, Ted, of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; one niece; and other relatives and many friends. Celebration of life services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Benton County Memorial Park's Funeral Home Chapel (3800 W. Walnut) in Rogers, with private family inurnment services at the Fayetteville National Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Linda Kues family to defer expenses. Online tributes to the family may be made at www.bentoncountymemorialpark.com.
