Deloris Marie "Scooter" Marie (Burson) Girard

Deloris "Scooter" Marie (Burson) Girard, 68, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Springdale, Ark. Deloris was born Sept. 25, 1943, in El Dorado, Ark., the daughter of Vernon T. and Mabel A. (Perdue) Burson. She was a beloved mother, Nana, sister and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Pat Girard; her children, Susan Warren of Little Rock, Keith Girard and wife, Kristin, of Bartlesville, Okla.; seven grandchildren; two siblings, Jack Burson and wife, Virginia, of Bella Vista, and Bettye Sue Echert and husband, Tom, of Spannaway, Wash. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at First Baptist Church of Centerton, Ark., with pastors Stuart Bell and Cliff Palmer officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Bethel South Cemetery in El Dorado, Ark. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Centerton Building Fund at P.O.
