Darlene Clark, 62, of Fayetteville, Ark., died July 31, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born in Japton, Ark., the daughter of Bruce Freeman and Oneida Fern Harriman Rogers. She was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ, where she was an avid teacher in the Thursday school program for 34 years and was a retired department manager for K-Mart with 25 years of service. She enjoyed music shows in Branson, Eureka Springs and the West Fork Little O'Opry, and loved butterflies and the color purple. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Survivors include her husband, Wilson S. Clark of the home, whom she married on April 5, 1969; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Dexter Clark of Fayetteville, Ark., and Jason and Diana Clark of Japton, Ark.; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynn and Bobbie Rogers and Dennis and Pat Rogers, all of Japton, Ark., Bill and Sharon Rogers of Fayetteville, Ark., and Larry and Lee Rogers of Camas, Wash.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Bonnie Walden of Forum, Ark., and Marlene and Wade Ball of Japton, Ark.; two grandsons, Dakota Clark and Hunter Clark, both of Fayetteville, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Mountain Grove Church of Christ, with Leon Glenn, minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Grose Cemetery in Japton under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be Dexter Clark, Jason Clark, Hunter Clark, Dakota Clark, Loren Clark and Doug Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Wheeler, Jeremy Riddle, Marti Edens, Brandon Rogers and Aaron Rogers.
