Roy Lee Taylor

Roy Lee Taylor, 68, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 10, 1943, in Cane Hill, the son of James and Lucille Deffenbaugh Taylor. He was a member of Baptist faith, served in the United States Air Force and worked for Standard Register for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Ruth Taylor of the home to whom he married 45 years ago; two sons, T.J. Taylor and wife, Paula, of Bentonville and Dominick Taylor of Bella Vista; one daughter, Tiffany Major of Fayetteville; one sister, Peggy Lewis of Van Buren; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Beard's Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
