Doris Tarlton

Doris Tarlton of Lowell, Ark. daughter of Haven and Ruby Parrish, was born April 19,1928 in Hollis, Ok. She passed away Friday April 13,2012 at the Shiloh Nursing Home in Springdale, Ark. at the age of 83. She was married to James Austin Tarlton on May 27, 1944 in Long Beach, Calif. She spent her years as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, as well as a beautician in her early years. Survived by one sister Patsy Thomason; two brothers, Gail Parrish, and Gary Parrish; one son, James Robert Tarlton of Temecula, Calif.; one daughter, Janice Marie Wallis of Red Level, Ala.; four grandchildren, Jason Tarlton, Kari Tarlton, Mona Bynum, and Theresa Ogden; eight great-grandchildren, Vanessa Alvarez, Tiffany Winters, Allyssa Bynum, Angel Ogden, Blaze Ogden, William Taylor, James Taylor, and Jaime Tarlton; two great-great-grandchildren Shiloh Burns, and Michael Brundidge Jr.; and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband James Tarlton; her parents Haven and Ruby Parrish; one sister, Wanda Barr, one granddaughter, Edie Tarlton. Denton City Memorial in Rogers, Ark. is in charge of arrangements.
