David Bradford Bagwell

David Bradford Bagwell, 86, of Brookline, Mo., formerly of Springdale, passed away April 26, 2012. He was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Madison County, Ark. David married Betty Lou Johnson on June 19, 1949, in Springdale, Ark. David is survived by wife Betty Lou; daughters, Marilyn (Bagwell) Burks and husband Victor of Nixa, Mo., Joyce (Bagwell) Gamble and husband Neil of Hurley, Mo.; a son Michael Bagwell of Springfield; five granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Bagwell and wife Maggie of Springdale, Eldon Bagwell and wife Audrey of Hindsville; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Bagwell of Springdale, Ark. David was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Truck Maintenance Supervisor for Campbell 66 and owner operator of Bagwell Mowers. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, Mo. Burial will follow in Manley Cemetery, Battlefield, Mo. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2012, in the funeral home.
