Willene McAdams Allen

Willene M. Allen, age 86, of Springdale, died April 25, 2012, at the Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born Sept. 9, 1925, in DeWitt, Ark., the daughter of Isaac and Nellie Wright McAdams. She was of the Methodist faith and a retired beautician. She was preceded by her husband, W.L. "Bill" Allen on June 9, 2011. Ms. Adams is survived by one son, Steve Allen and his wife, Sherry, of Springdale; and three grandchildren, Summer Allen, Chaz Allen and Christina Jordan. Funeral services will be Monday, April 30, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel, with Chaplain Audie Long officiating. Private burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
