Larry Gene Burkart

Larry Gene Burkart, 63, of Rogers, passed away April 25, 2012, in Rogers. Larry was born July 14, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Lawrence and Reva Jay Burkart. Larry served in the United States Navy from 1966 to 1970 and he was a Disabled American Veteran. He is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors his wife, Samantha Samas Burkart of the home; his son, David Bolay of Kingston, Okla.; his father of Delware, Ark.; two sisters, Becky and Debbie, both of Oklahoma City; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday April 30, 2012, from 11 a.m. to noon at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, with graveside service at 1 p.m. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, with the Patriot Guard serving as pallbearers.
