Edward Lewis Eitelman

Edward Lewis Eitelman, 76, of St. Paul, Ark., died Saturday, April 21, 2012, at his home. He was born Dec. 6, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Edward Frederick Eitelman and Ardelle Ward. He attended Texas Tech and Baptist Bible College where he was a graduate of theology. He was a pastor from 1980 to 2005. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1991 from Sugarland, Texas, and was pastor of White River Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. Surviors include his wife, Elizabeth Lea Doss Eitelman, of the home; three sons, Edward "Ed" Eitelman and wife, Cindy, of McKinney, Texas, Bob Eitelman and wife, Marlene, of Witter, Ark., and Bill Eitelman and wife, Pam, of St. Paul, Ark.; two brothers, Ray Eitelman of Fayetteville and Barry Eitelman of Abilene, Texas; one sister, Jean Unger of Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at White River Baptist Church in St. Paul. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Brashears Cemetery and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at White River Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White River Baptist Church Mission Fund, 18830 Highway 16, St. Paul, AR 72760.
