Theodore 'Ted' Bennett

Theodore "Ted" Bennett, 60, of Hindsville, Ark., died April 16, 2012, at Jacksonville, Fla. He was born March 25, 1952, at Jamestown, N.Y. He was an over-the-road truck driver and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing gold and flying small planes. Although he drove a truck for a living, his greatest pleasure in that was delivering contributions to the needy in Mexico. He was preceded in death by one son, Ray Foree. He is survived by his family, Jo Bennett of the home; Tracey and Ray Pomeroy of Fayetteville, Ark.; Major Mickey and Jana Moppin of Germany and his son, Kenny Foree of Porterville, California. He had seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. There will be a memorial service held at Astounding Grace Church in Hindsville, Arkansas on Friday, April 27, 2012, at 7 p.m. with The Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating. Private interment with family will be in Las Cruces, N.M.
