Roxanne Mary Clement

Roxanne Mary Clement, 45, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was born April 18, 1967, in Neosho, Mo., to Richard Benjamin Mahurin and Lillian J. Hines Mahurin. Roxanne had a passion for people. Due to her kind spirit and genuine love for all, she never met a stranger. Throughout her entire life, she had a special way of making people feel comfortable and loved. Roxanne had a servant's heart and a true gift for working with special-needs children. She cherished time spent with her family. She loved being a mother and a grandmother. Traveling with her family was one of Roxanne's favorite pastimes, especially cruising. Roxanne was a gracious woman who was always smiling and thankful for each day. Ever since she was a child, Roxanne had a tremendous heart for missions and the people of Haiti. She had a close personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, and was a faithful, active member of Fellowship Bible Church. She is survived by her husband, Roger Eugene Clement; two sons, Travis Pennington and wife, Elise, of Rogers, Bobby Pennington of Fayetteville; three daughters, Tiffany Pennington of Bentonville, Casey Funk and husband, Buddy, of Neosho, Mo., Kim Dowdy and husband, Don, of Rogers; four sisters, Sandra Cantwell and husband, Jeff, of Neosho, Mo., Kelli Duvall and husband, Donnie, of Russellville, Ark., Nelli Dovel of Elkton, Va., Wanda Morris and husband, Jim, of Norfolk, Va.; and her eight beautiful grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Fellowship Bible Church in the Training Center Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at Fellowship Bible Church in the main sanctuary, with Pastor Mickey Rapier officiating. Burial will be in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. At Roxanne's request, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joy House Ministries Inc.
