Doris Faye Tarlton

Doris Faye Tarlton, age 83, of Lowell and formerly of Mountain View, passed away April 13, 2012, in Springdale. Doris was born in Odessa, Texas, on April 19, 1928, to Haven and Ruby (Coswell) Parrish. Doris worked as a professional hair stylist and seamstress and enjoyed volunteering for the Republican National Convention when she lived in California. Preceded in death by her husband, Austin "Shorty" Tarlton; her parents; one sister; and one granddaughter, Edie Tarlton; Doris is survived by one son, James Tarlton and wife, Margie, of California; one daughter, Janice Wallace and husband, Glen, of Louisiana; several brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her granddaughter-in-law, Kimberly Lynn Butler and husband, William, of Springdale; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
