Jackson Robert Whitley

Jackson Robert Whitley, 20, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away April 14, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 29, 1992, in Naples, Italy, the son of Mark Edward and Mialyn Faith Roy Whitley. He attended the First Baptist Church of Prairie Grove and graduated from Prairie Grove High School in 2010. Survivors include his parents, Mark and Mia Whitley; two brothers, Bennett Whitley, John Whitley; one sister, Jadyn Hollingworth and her husband, Luke, all of Prairie Grove; paternal grandmother, Christine Whitley; maternal grandparents, Bob and Faith Roy, all of Birmingham, Ala.; and a host of extended family and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 1-3 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 19, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Seven Hills Homeless Shelter, 1555 W. MLK Blvd., Fayetteville, AR 72701; and Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80997. Pallbearers will be Pat Patterson, Matt Holmes, Luke Hollingworth, Luke Holmes, Duncan Hudson and Jack Brazeal.
