Janice Joann Fair, age 55, of Seligman, Mo., passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, in her home. She was born Nov. 17, 1956, in Bentonville, Ark., the daughter of J.W. and Dorothy (McDonald) Wishon. She was united in marriage to Dan Fields, who preceded her in death. To this union two children were born. On May 23, 1990, in Yuma, Ariz., she married Jay Fair who preceded her in death on May 28, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her mother and a granddaughter, Alli Letts. Surviving are her father; two sons, Jason Fields and his wife, Missy of Seligman, Mo., and Danny Fields of Avoca, Ark.; three daughters, Lori Letts and her husband, Brian of Stark City, Mo.; Christy Johnson of Rogers, Ark., and Loretta Howarth of Seligman, Mo.; two brothers, Darrell Wishon and his wife, Velda of Little Flock, Ark., and Ricky Wishon and his wife, Greta of Afton, Okla.; three sisters, Catherine Underdown and her husband, David of Green Forest, Ark., Judy Eastep and Art Kicbia of Florida and Shirley Chandler and her husband, Jerry of Seligman, Mo.; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Janice grew up and received most of her elementary education in Northwest Arkansas and then moved to Yuma, Ariz., where she finished her schooling. For several years she owned and operated Sunburst Tan and Video and then the Bird Cage Pet Shop in Seligman. In 1992, she moved to Seligman to make her home. She was of the Baptist Faith. Some of favorite pastimes were 4-wheeling and boating and her greatest joy in life was spending time were her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the J.W. Wishon home, 1301 Frost, Seligman, Mo. The family invites all friends and extended family to join them. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
