Larry Dowell

Larry Dowell, 60, of Elkins passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 29, 1952, in Fayetteville, the son of Claude and Lila Rogers Dowell. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville and owned Dowell Appraisal Company. Preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Dowell; and one sister, Billie Sue Stephens. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Dowell of the home; one son, Clayton Dowell and wife, Shelley, of Fayetteville; one daughter, Amy Wenger and husband, Aaron, of Little Rock; two brothers, Jerry Dowell of Raymond, Calif., and Bob Dowell of Rogers; one sister, Betty Dowell of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Cooper Dowell and Ruby Dowell. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Fayetteville with Pastor Gene Fulcher officiating. Burial will be in Nickell Memorial Cemetery.
