Lesy Caroline Rustad

Lesy Caroline Rustad, 67, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born on March 15, 1945, in Winona, Minn., to Lester Vorbeck and Audrey Ruehmann Vorbeck. She married Richard Rustad on Sept. 5, 1964, at Highland Prairie Lutheran Church in rural Peterson, Minn. She and her husband moved to Bella Vista from Minnesota in 2002. She loved Jesus and her family above all. She also enjoyed singing, playing the piano, watching the birds and flowers. She was preceded in death by her father and one her brother, Vernon Vorbeck. She is survived by her husband, Richard Rustad of Bella Vista, Ark.; mother, Audrey Vorbeck of La Crosse, Wis.; nine children, Kristine Black (David) of Cottage Grove, Minn., Rick Rustad (Shelly) of Hudson, Iowa, Heather Bovee (Paul) of Woodbury, Minn., Jennifer Stoesz (Tim) of Waseca, Minn., Joel Rustad (Courtney) of Cannon Falls, Minn., Andrew Rustad (Tanya) of Plymouth, Minn., Major Timothy Rustad (Jessica) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Stephen Rustad (Tara) of Minneapolis, Minn., Jonathan Rustad (Chelsea) of Bella Vista, Ark.; and 19 grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Bella Vista Assembly of God with Rev. Jonathan D. Watson officiating. Burial will be at Highland Prairie Lutheran Cemetery in rural Peterson, Minn. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
