Virginia T. Rowland

Virginia T. Rowland, 75, died April 4, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Feb. 15, 1937, in Maysville to the late Robert and Leta (Dill) Tucker. Mrs. Rowland was very active at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville, loved spending time with her granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann, was a professor at the Southern University of Mississippi and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Oldfather of Bella Vista; three sisters, Carol Ann Walker, Judy Bishop, both of Maysville, and Ernestine Breeding of Mounds, Okla. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville.
