Joy Lee McKeehan

Joy Lee McKeehan, 85, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at Innisfree Skilled Nursing Care in Rogers. She was born Jan. 11, 1927, in Hiwasse, Ark., to Frank A. Reynolds and Nellie Belle McMillan Reynolds. She was a volunteer at Trenton, Mo., Thrift Shop and the Trenton Senior Activity Center. She was also a member of Grundy County Extension Homemakers. Joy had received an award as a Volunteer Citizen of Trenton several years ago. She was wonderful and beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard C. McKeehan, in 2007; one brother, Robert "Mack" Reynolds; and one child. Joy is survived by four sons, Richard and wife, Patricia, of Rogers, Tim and wife, Coleen, of Knoxville, Tenn., Patrick and wife, Mary, of Edwardsville, Ill., Kevin and wife, Lisa, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; one sister, Orva Dee Peachey and husband, James, of Jonesboro, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Galen Pearcy officiating.
