Charles Edward 'Butch' Fredrick, 64, of Springdale, died March 30, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. He was born May 12, 1947, in Fayetteville, to Pete and Betty McCoy Fredrick. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam and Korea. Butch retired from the University of Arkansas maintenance department. He was a member of the BTW and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by son, Gary Lee Fredrick. He is survived by his wife, Linda Thomas Fredrick, whom he married Sept. 12, 1971; one son, Charlie Fredrick Jr. of Pea Ridge; five daughters, Debra Clark of Summers, Diana Brown of California, Donna Dart of Prairie Grove, Tracie Young and Cheryl Johnson, both of Rogers; two sisters, Sandy Perry and Vanessa Stevens, both of Springdale; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Rogers, with Pastor Buddy Gastineau officiating.
