Joseph N. Bartalone

Joseph Nunzio Bartalone, 86, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, March 31, 2012, at his home in Rogers, Ark. He was born July 23, 1925, in Coloma, Mich., the son of Sarah Rose Laracco and Dominick Bartalone. He proudly served his country during World War II as a Seaman 2nd Class with the United States Navy. He was a truck driver for many years. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1978 after moving from Streamwood, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Treeca Bartalone in 2008, who he married Dec. 17, 1954; two brothers, Carmie Bartalone, Dominick Bartalone; a sister, Sylvia Galiti; and his parents. Joseph is survived by one son, Joseph Anthony Bartalone of Sutter Creek, Calif.; three daughters, Pam Mary Randall of Sutter Creek, Calif., Rose Marie Cooper of Bentonville, Mary Lee Haynes and her husband, Robert, of Rogers; two brothers, Leroy Bartalone and Frank Bartalone; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial service: Thursday at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church of Rogers located in the Lodge. Memorials to: Mosaic Church of Northwest Arkansas, 1051 Pleasant Grove Road, Rogers, AR 72758.
