Dorris Benedict Sinclair

Dorris Sinclair, age 90 of Rogers, passed away March 29, 2012. Dorris was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Dodson, La., to parents Earl Benedict and Alice Merritt Benedict. She was united in marriage to Cecil Sinclair on May 13, 1944, in Minden, La. They enjoyed many years of marriage. Dorris worked for many years as a social worker and was a longtime employee of the Benton County Office of Human Concern. Dorris was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sinclair in 1975 and daughter, Janie Sinclair in 1988. She is survived by her grandchildren, Stacy Ecklund of San Clemonte, Calif., and Russell Willis of Rogers; great-grandchildren, Ashley Whitham, Tiffany Whitham, Kaci Crews, Russell Willis Jr., Mason Willis; great-great-grandchildren, Thomas Nolan, Jayden Michael Hedstrom, Gavin Whitham and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at Benton County Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
