Jack B. Morton

Jack B. Morton, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born March 21, 1928 in Springdale, Arkansas, a son of Walter and Bessie Lee (Prince) Morton. He departed this life Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Berryville, at the age of 83 years. Jack worked as a truck driver for 46 years and retired from Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Carroll County Country Club Men's Golf Association. On July 16, 1977, Jack was united in marriage with Gay Jones who survives him of the home. He is also survived by one son, Gary Wayne Morton of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Virginia Mae Potts and Clara Anglin both of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Hickory Morton of Springdale, Ark.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of loved ones and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Bessie Lee Morton; and one brother, Jim Morton. A Memorial Gathering will be 6 p.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Carroll County Country Club.
