Officers with the Jacksonville Police Department said they conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle Hargo was driving for an expired license plate. Hargo told police his name was "Thomas O'Brien," but dispatch said his real name was Hargo and he had multiple warrants for his arrest, the report said.

Officers said that when they searched the vehicle they found two firearms, a needle with methamphetamine, distribution packaging material and a scale.

Hargo was convicted of a felony in Tennessee for aggravated burglary in 1997 and escape from incarceration in 2001. The firearm by certain persons charge was enhanced due to Hargo being convicted of a violent crime.

He is currently being held in the Pulaski County jail without bail.
