Two men suspected in vehicle break-ins

Sherwood police arrested two men early Thursday after vehicle break-ins were reported.

Officers responded to a breaking-and-entering complaint in the area of 55 North Valley Drive about 2 a.m. Police said that two men were spotted running behind a residence at 707 Kings Place.

Police chased the pair, arresting one, 20-year-old Trevon Frye, at 709 Kings Place The second suspect, Alexander Howard-Drake, 19, was arrested after his mother took him to the Police Department, according to the reports.

Both suspects were taken to the Pulaski County jail where they are held without bail and are charged with three felony counts of breaking and entering of a vehicle and misdemeanor fleeing.

Newport woman faces drug charges

A Newport woman was arrested on drug charges in North Little Rock after a traffic stop early Thursday, according to a report.

A report said that just after 4 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle driven by Rosalyn Thames, 57, because a taillight was out. The officer reported seeing blue pills in plain view in the vehicle, police said.

According to a report, a search of Thames turned up cocaine and a pipe.

Thames is held without bail at the Pulaski County jail. She is charged with felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
