Author to discuss 9/11 day's events

The author of an oral history on the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States will be speaking at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock today.

Garrett Graff is the author of The Only Plane in the Sky, which pulls together 500 oral histories from New York, the Pentagon, and Shanksville, Pa., as well as from air traffic controllers, fighter pilots and families of victims, among others.

His talk, which is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., will be at the school's Sturgis Hall on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave. in Little Rock.
