Storms, cold front coming to Northwest Arkansas, forecasters say

Storms are expected to bring an inch and half of rain to Northwest Arkansas through Friday, according to forecasters.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to arrive between 3 and 5 p.m. this afternoon as a cold front enters the region, according to the National Weather Service's website.

The storms will end during the day Friday, according to the site.

Temperatures in Fayetteville are expected to drop as a result of the cold front, with temperatures falling as low as 41 degrees Thursday night. The National Weather Service predicts a high of 46 degrees Friday, according to its site.
