A 46-year-old man died Monday morning when he was struck by a car near Hot Springs, authorities said.
According to a report by the Arkansas State Police, Stephen L. Davis of Hot Springs was crossing Albert Pike Road near Mountain Pine Road about 10:45 a.m. when he stepped into the path of a Chrysler 300 that was turning left.
The vehicle hit Davis, and he died at the scene.
The pavement was dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash, troopers said.
