Two Clarksville men were arrested Wednesday on preliminary charges of first-degree murder.
Alan Kody Rice and James Trey Holt were taken into custody by the Arkansas State Police, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Clarksville Police Department, according to a news release from Sheriff Jimmy Stephens.
Rice and Holt were being held in the Johnson County jail on Thursday awaiting a bail hearing.
“Due to the affidavit being sealed, no additional information will be released at this time,” the news release said.
Formal charges have yet to be filed.
