Springdale ranked sixth most livable minor league baseball city

SPRINGDALE -- SmartAsset ranked the city sixth in the annual study of the most livable Minor League Baseball towns of 2018, according to a news release.

Springdale, home of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, ranked sixth out of 159 minor league baseball towns in the nation. The city's quality of life, average attendance and win percentage were factors in determining Springdale's ranking, the release states.

In 11 seasons, 3.5 million -- an average of 4,692 people per game -- have attended regular season games, while another 46,000 people have watched playoff baseball in the seven seasons of post-season games, according to the news release.
