Website, Facebook page for postponed Fulcrum music festival taken down

The website and Facebook page for a central Arkansas music festival that had been rescheduled for this month have been taken down.

Access to the Fulcrum festival sites was no longer available by mid-September. The Twitter account remains active, but the last post on the platform was in March.

The Fulcrum, which was set to debut in March, was postponed until at least September because of rain forecast in the Cabot area, where the festival was supposed to take place on Davis Ranch off Arkansas 107 near the Little Rock Air Force Base.

At the time, Cliff Aaron, who previously described himself as a festival “mediator” to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, said attendees could request a refund through a form on the festival's website or keep the voucher for the rescheduled show.

With the website down and no confirmed date, it is unclear if concert-goers can request a refund if they kept their tickets, which ranged from $100 to more than $300.

Aaron, who has declined to name the festival's organizers, did not return multiple requests for comment.

The Fulcrum, which was announced in November 2017 and marketed as an alternative to the canceled Riverfest, initially advertised Kelly Clarkson as a performer and Jimmy Fallon as a host. All traces of their names were eventually removed.

Artists Stephen Marley and PJ Morton were later listed as headliners for the March show, and they agreed to perform at the rescheduled event, organizers said in a news release at the time of the postponement.

A spokeswoman for Morton said last week that the R&B artist never confirmed a September date because he was scheduled to be on tour with Maroon 5.

In a previous interview, Aaron did not rule out postponing the festival until spring 2019, giving organizers more time to book additional acts and secure a new venue.

Previous plans to host the festival on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center and the amphitheater in downtown Little Rock's Riverfront Park fell through.
