Beauty school dropouts, pink ladies and even a few T-Birds showed up at Party With a Heart's fundraiser Sept. 15 at Argenta Community Theater. The women -- many dressed as students from Rydell High -- were there to dance and sing along with the music from the movie Grease at the Grease-Sing-Along.
Before the movie, guests enjoyed food and drinks in the lobby and fun 1950s-theme cutouts to pose with for fun photos.
The women-only sing-along had the goal to raise awareness and support for this year's Party With a Heart beneficiary Hope Rises.
Part of the mission of Hope Rises, according to Party with a Heart's website, is to provide opportunities to achieve personal and economic empowerment to incarcerated and recently released women.
