Investigation of the subsurface in preparation for a project to widen a section of Cantrell Road in west Little Rock will require lane closings for one week beginning Monday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.
The outside eastbound lane of Cantrell Road, also called Arkansas 10, between Pleasant Ridge and Woodland Heights roads will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily through Sept. 29, weather permitting. The outside westbound lane between Southridge Drive and Interstate 430 will be closed at the same time.
The lane closings were originally supposed to take place this week, but were rescheduled due to weather, the department said. Traffic will be controlled with signs and traffic cones.
