ARKANSAS vs. AUBURN: HOW WE SEE IT

Clay Henry, Hawgs Illustrated

The Arkansas offensive line does not have enough physical strength to sustain the running game. Chad Morris complained about the soft nature of that part of the offense in week one and only against an ultra-soft Colorado State defense has it looked improved. No one can imagine a running game against Auburn’s defensive front and that means the Arkansas quarterbacks will be passing into coverage and scrambling for their lives. Auburn 41-7

It’s a good team that is mad it lost at home to LSU against one that is not very good at all right now. It is likely to get ugly like it did two years ago on Arkansas’ last trip there. Auburn 45-10

Gus Malzahn’s close friendship with Chad Morris stands in the way of Arkansas losing worse than the game in Auburn two years ago. The Tigers should be able to name a score. Auburn 52-9

Bo Mattingly, Sports Talk with Bo

Arkansas is in a world of hurt as they head to the Plains. It doesn’t help that Auburn is coming off a loss. The growing pains continue. The Tigers can name the score. Auburn 45-7

Harry King, Hawgs Illustrated

The Razorbacks turned the ball over six times vs. North Texas. Unless Auburn is in an equally giving mood, Arkansas’s chances are slim to none. Auburn 38-10

Scottie Bordelon, Whole Hog Sports

Arkansas’ offense is flailing without direction and leadership. It’s really difficult to imagine the Razorbacks rebounding from the North Texas loss in a positive way. Auburn can name its score, and its defense, especially the front four, is talented enough to name what the visitors score, too. Auburn 45-7

Tommy Craft, ESPN Arkansas

The absolute worst scenario for the Hogs is playing out: Losing to North Texas and catching Auburn after a loss to LSU. The Hogs cannot match Auburn’s line play, so finding answers at quarterback will be tough. Auburn 44-10

Bart Pohlman, Sports Talk with Bo

Arkansas looks lost right now. That’s not a good sign heading to Jordan-Hare to take on Auburn. This one won’t be pretty. Auburn 48-14

Chip Souza, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

How shocking would it be for Arkansas, coming off back-to-back losses to Colorado State and North Texas, to stroll into Auburn and smack the Tigers? OK, that’s not going to happen. The Hogs will play better than they have the past two weeks, which is all Chad Morris can ask for at this point, but Auburn is ticked off after losing to LSU. Auburn 44-14
