The following locations are offering flu vaccinations. People should bring insurance cards with them. The shots may be available to those without insurance or whose insurance doesn’t pay for vaccinations.
Sept. 28 — 9 to 11 a.m., UAMS Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education, 2422 N. Thompson, Suite B in Springdale. Adult vaccinations for flu and pneumonia will be administered. A TDap (tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough) booster vaccine and a vaccine for shingles will be offered as well.
Oct. 5 — 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Rogers Activity Center, 315 W. Olive St., sponsored by the Benton County Health Unit of the Arkansas Department of Health. Vaccinations will be given at no charge if necessary.
